Kevin B (RPS Coach)
Ok, I know it's going to rain and rain tomorrow, but Gilly and I want to paddle in the slop anyway. Anyone else planning on going out? There will only be one June 3, 2006 so we definately don't want to waste it! Actually, might want to play in some small surf. Any suggestions/cautions in re Nahant? Bill Gwynn
Nahant is a great place to play in the surf, nice easy break with spilling waves. Park at the south end of the beach by the Tides restraunt. The only place there are any rocks is at the south end by the tides and along the sea wall there, so just stay out of that corner. If the conditions are too big or too windy in Nahant, you could always head north a couple miles to Kings beach in Swampscott. It should be smaller and more protected from the NE winds. Parking is on street there.
