cathyfoley
Now is the time to renew! So far for 2007 we have 77 active members in the club, as of this posting. ( NSPN had 249 members in 2006) This includes members who had multi-year memberships and those who have renewed for this year. Remember to fill out both waiver forms, SIGN THEM BOTH and please print clearly! If you have a family membership, remember you must have completed and signed waiver forms for EACH FAMILY MEMBER. I process the applications in batches, with 10 being the minimum before we send them in to the ACA. So if you mail your application, it may be a week or so before you get confirmation back that your applications was processed and sent off. Kevin B (RPS Coach)
Please note that to attend the pool sessions and winter workshops, you MUST be a member of NSPN. One point of clarification. Non-members can attend, but they need to pay the non-member fee as well as sign the ACA waiver.
bob budd
I sure hope you are wrong about this. In prior years non-members were allowed to attend if they provide a signed ACA waiver form. I have a non-member on January.
Michael_Crouse
From the calendar posting for the Ipswich Pool Sessions "$20 for members, $40 for non-NSPN members" So you don't have to be a member to go, but since a membership is only $35 if you plan on going to two or more pool sessions it's cheaper to join the club. DeCourcy
"Attending" and "Participating" have different meanings. Which one are you folks talking about? Jim.
Michael_Crouse
>"Attending" and "Participating" have different meanings. >Which one are you folks talking about? We're talking about participating, bringing a boat, getting wet, etc... To just show up and watch should be free.
PeterB
A non-member asked if he could be a spotter for a pool session. Members pay $20, and non-members pay $40 to participate (get in the pool with boats etc), and members can participate as spotters for free. How about non.members? Bill Gwynn
Interesting scenario. At a minimum, they would have to pay the $10.00 ACA waiver fee if not an ACA member.
cathyfoley
Non members can participate if they sign the ACA waiver and pay the non-member fee. The waiver and fee need to be sent to me so we can forward it to the ACA and pay the insurance fee.
