JohnHuth
Anyone have any advice on pogies? I'm looking at the problems of cold water on windy days, particularly this time of year. Here's one I found, but I'm open to advice http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=2445&src=champ
Creeker
A coach suggested to me a few years ago that I use the chillcheater gloves as the primary glove (they're very thin with open palms, but totally windproof). When that's not enough, he then slips the gloved hand into pogies. This has worked well for me. I have the Brooks pogies, but don't need to use them very often. kayakher
I like the nylon pogies - I've been using them for about three years. The advantage is that they keep my hands dry but not too hot like the neoprene. I can choose different glove/mitten lines according to temperature.
