This is a very capable and faster sea kayak in the right hands. Hard chine and stable. I do have two Mill Creek kayaks by CLC. One is 16', double, open cockpit and needs paint. Well built, not heavy at all. I repaired a small hole when I bought it $300. One is the 14' single, hatches, my build, BS 1088 marine ply, West epoxy and about 38#'s $550.
