Nancy Hill Posted May 17, 2023 Share Posted May 17, 2023 For those who live a little closer to me and want an easy, relaxed paddle on a pretty lake, Joyce Carpenter and I are planning to paddle at Whitehall in Hopkinton, MA tomorrow (Thursday 5/18). Launch at 10 AM and return by 2:00 PM. That should help most people avoid rush hour. It's a fairly large place and it's predominantly tree-lined with very few houses visible. There are coves and islands, loons and an eagle (usually). We can take a break along shore for lunch. Bring layers for lunch, as the rest-stop is usually in the shade and it may be breezy (although winds are "supposed" to be light). Temps mid 50s to mid 60s.
