Jim Snyder
It was a beautiful day off the New Hampshire coast, feeling more like late October than late December. We were only three, Sandy Blanchard, Paul Sylvester, and me. We expected a muddy launch, less than an hour before low at Odiorne and weren't disappointed. We managed to get out without walking although I suspect a half hour later would have been a different story. Soon we were on the open ocean with small long period swells creating a little action around the many rocks south of Jaffrey point. We landed in small surf at Wallis Sands for lunch, managing to catch a little bit of a ride on the way in. Heading home after lunch we picked up a light tailwind and enjoyed the low sun on one of the shortest days of the year. After a couple of months where good conditions were sparse, this was a great day on the water. Track_12-30-22-101151AM.kmz The link should open in google earth. William Doucet
Sorry, I missed you. I paddled from same starting point up to Brave Boat Harbor.
