Ginger
I'm looking at heading out this Sunday to Boon Island. Boon is about 9 miles off the coast of York. It has a pretty nifty history of death and dining: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boon_Island The plan would be to leave from York Harbor at about 8:30am on Sunday, returning around 3:00. Estimated distance is around 20 miles, and anticipated pace is on the faster end of moderate. Landing on Boon is not easy, seal-style on kelp granite. I will only go in highly favorable weather. Message or reply if you'd like to join. Disclaimer: I have never done this particular trip before, although I'm very familiar with the York Harbor/Portsmouth/Isles of Shoals area and have done the Isles crossing numerous times. Group members should be self-sufficient and prepared for the distance, open water crossing, and landing.
