CAM Classroom Session Sunday March 20 at Newbury Kayak and Canoe

For those of  of you who  have  RSVP'd but have not noticed schedule changes, or those of you who  have not been regularly  checking the message board and calendar; the first CAM classroom session will be this Sunday at Newbury Kayak and Caneoe ,  291 High street Newbury : That' s Rte 1A where it crosses the Parker River,  a bit south of Newburyport.
The Session begins at 9AM, and will focus on pr trip  material: (the second workshop will  cover 0n-the-water issues, procedures) In the morning we will review the Common Adventure Model and how it applies to NSPN Trips , and  review  how to post and run an NSPN trip.The afternoon will be a  trip planning group excercise with nautical charts, tide information etc. (fun!)

Rob Folster, Rick Crangle  and Peter Brady will be on hand to present material, and others will likely attend to help  with trip planning and chart exercises in  the afternoon. 

There aren't any lunch places close by, so bring a lunch or snacks, and some notebook  paper and writing implements . Bring a hand held compass if  you have one.
