Jim Snyder Posted June 13, 2021 Share Posted June 13, 2021 I scheduled this morning to paddle with Matt and expected to just be copilot of the tandem but no! Mat brought two singles too and started me out in the Epic V8. At 18' it has the general feel of a sea kayak and was fairly easy for me to get going in. Then for fun we tried switching boats and I tried to get underway in his longer faster boat, I think a V12. That was a nonstarter. So we switched to the V10 tandem. Stability was somewhere between the V8 and the V12 but with Matt as half the crew I started feeling comfortable in it after a while. Matt was gracious and an excellent teacher.
