Saturday looks like a nice day, but too windy to go out on the ocean. I hate cancelling this event entirely, so here is an alternate plan:
Saturday, April 4. Meet at 9:30 am at the Concord River boat ramp, off Route 225 in Bedford, MA. It's 45 minutes from West Beach, so fairly accessible to most people. Plan on a launch time of 10:00 am sharp. Paddle 4 miles (8 round trip) to Old North Bridge, where we can pull out and take a break. We should be back at the launch by about 2:30 at the latest.

Water temps in the river are still below 40° F so wet / dry suit and other cold weather gear required. Air temps warmest in the morning, low 50's, then cooling off. Wind NE 10-15 mph.
Trip will go with 3 people or more. Parking is easy.
