Hi All,

As warmer weather approaches in the next few months we are seeking students for our program we will be running from March to October.  We believe the program we will be offering this year will allow you the opportunity to not only refine your current skill set but develop a new tool box of tricks.  Sea Kayak New England was founded on a simple principle of wanting to spread our theory of a simplified and safe approach to sea kayaking.   During the program you will be exposed to a variety of environments and areas that will help you grow as a paddler.  

We anticipate to run around ten sessions this year with some session being two day events in order take advantage of weather, environments and conditions.  Sessions will include on water and off water sessions.  On water sessions will range anywhere from Rhode Island to Maine depending on the session plan and conditions.  Classroom sessions will be run out of our property in Wells, Maine.  Our location offers great access to water and amenities.

Join Gerry Polinsky (Sea Sherpa Kayak) & Co-coaches Jonathan and Kelsey Oltz (Sea Kayak New England) for a weekend of reversing falls and rock gardening in the scenic Schoodic Peninsula just outside the magnificent Acadia National Park in Maine.  Venues will include Sullivan Reversing Falls and rock gardening along the rugged outer coast.

These days will be focused on open water instruction. Topics covered will include conditions forecasting, incident management, techniques for rock gardening and taking advantage of the opportunities reversing falls offer that are both unique and universal to moving water kayaking.

The main event will be over the weekend however there is an opportunity to have coaching from Gerry Polinsky either before or after the event.
