THE SALE TERMS:
SALE DATE - ONE DAY ONLY - SATURDAY, JULY 27
Time: 9:30 - 3:30. All offers reviewed at noon Saturday.
Place: Kayak Beach, Peaks Island, Maine. (Below the gas station.)ALL NEW BOATS IN-STOCK
Make an Offer between Now and Noon on Saturday, July 27th. If you can't attend on Saturday, you can make a written offer via phone or email to tom@maineislandkayak.com. All reasonable offers considered at noon on Saturday. All boats have a Reserve. Our loyal MIKCo paddlers are favored.
For this Sale, BOATS NEED TO BE PAID FOR BY or ON JULY 27.
You can buy over the phone, by email, in person, or provide cc info ahead of time. Paid-for boats can be stored in our Portland warehouse for one month, or taken with you that day. Talk to us if you are going to want our MIKCo custom outfitting and foam work, which will be billed additionally on deal boats at Time and Materials Cost.
NO SALES TAX FOR NON-MAINERS on new boats leaving Maine. Fill out the lower half of the Maine Tax Exemption Form. We will fill in the remainder of the form, if you are the buyer. Save the 5.5% sales tax.

Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 1:30-4pmLearn how to recognize early signs of changing weather and how to anticipate storms, squalls, fog, and wind shifts. You can check the forecast before you leave, but it might be hours old and doesn’t necessarily reflect the conditions in your area. Familiarize yourself with basic weather elements to understand how they will affect your boating experience.
Cost for the presentation is $10 for MASKGI members and $20 for non-members. You may join MASKGI on the day of the event and take advantage of the discount.

Join Maine Island Kayak Co on Peaks Island, Maine for these special offerings of BCU courses with guest coach Greg Paquin of Kayak Waveology.
Day 1: Skills Primer. A fun coaching day that takes advantage of the dynamic sea conditions and varied coastline surrounding Peaks Island.
Day 2: BCU 3 Star Sea Assessment. This Assessment can be taken for its training value with prior approval by the Coach.
Days 3 and 4: BCU 4 Star Sea Training. Two solid days of intensive training in paddling skills, leadership, safety and rescue for those who work in the sea kayaking industry, operate in groups, or take friends out on the sea.
