Pablo,
Just spoke to the buddy with whom I'm committed to paddle with on Saturday. He can't do an early launch. So, if you're time constrained, we'll have to pass on trying to join efforts. If you can tolerate an earlier start, I'm happy to entertain an alternative launch point for a trip to the outer islands.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
Tom -
Pablo,
I'm also planning on paddling the Boston Harbor Islands on Saturday, but was thinking about doing the outer islands, launching from Hull. Specifically, the Brewsters (inc. Boston Light) and the Georges/Gallops/Lovell group. Similar distance, but obviously a more open water paddle. Given the good weather that's currently being predicted, I'm thinking it's a great opportunity to tackle this. Here's a preliminary route... http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6721979
Any interest in such a trip?

Would love to do the Boston Harbor Islands/Boston Light from Deer Island trip that same day, but circumstances require that I be on Cape Ann that afternoon, so I'm hoping to do the Rockport to Thacher Island run.
I'm a new NSPN member (have never paddled with the group before) and am thus a little uncertain on how to propose a trip. I would be happy to get any guidance people have to offer, including best options for launching from Rockport and landing on Thacher Island. I'll be doing this trip with an early start (9:30 AM) so that we can be back by early afternoon. So far, I've got a buddy who will be joining me.
Please express interest in joining us by replying to this post. Any recommendations/cautions/comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Tom

Checking in to see if there are any new details on this. Two additional people (myself and a friend) are interested.

Pablo,
I understand. I hope you're able to do the original plan. Looks like a good paddle. Spectacle Island is the best place on the planet if you're a fan of beach glass.
Happy paddling,
Tom
