What is the size of your cockpit?  I believe they made two sizes of 24" or 28" long.  I forget the skirt I used with an AH, but it might have been a 1.2 Seals.  Not ideal, but worked.  Anyway, I have actually used an OC skirt from Seals on my Sparrow Hawk ( 24")  Tight, but worked.  Brooks makes a summer Greenland skirt that works on 24" and 28".

Suggest calling Top Kayaker in Ossipee, NH. or check website.  He has a nylon skirt specifically designed for AH. for the 28" cockpit and he can order specific one for AH.

The AH and SH  cockpits are odd and hard to fit which is too bad because the boats are so great otherwise.  If you like antique, skegless, but light and competent kayaks.

Many thanks for the leads, Ed! The cockpit on my Arctic Hawk is about 30" long. Minus the coaming, it would probably be 28". The Seals sprayskirt I had custom made actually was excellent but after two paddles in the bay, the bungee split. I'll check out Top Kayaker and Brooks and see what they have. The AH is a beautiful boat and I hate to see it sit out of the water!

I'm surprised.  I've had good luck with both Seal and Snap Dragon custom skirts for my skin-on-frames.  The kind where you VERY CAREFULLY trace the cockpit using semi-rigid material that does not stretch such as very large and heavy paper, then send them the tracing.  I found that making a loop of bungee to hold the paper in place, like a skirt would be held in place, while I traced the edge of the coaming with a sharpie worked well for getting the outline.  Locating exactly where the tunnel should go was a bit trickier, and I never came up with a great technique.

Note I was ordering neoprene deck and tunnel skirts, and neoprene is pretty forgiving.

Good luck finding something that works for you.

Thanks for the info, Bill! I'll try Snap Dragon and see if they can help me out.
