Cape Neddick Harbor to Ogunquit, 4/19/23

It was a cold and windy start from the campground launch but we trusted the prediction that winds would be offshore and diminishing. We were myself, Sue Hriciga, Prudence Baxter, Barb Ryan, David Mercer, Dan Carr, and Ricardo Caivano. As usual, even a small swell provided spectacular action around the rocks, and there were plenty of rocks.

One of the highlights of this section of coast is the huge chasm below Cliff House at Bald Head. It was pretty quiet today.

We had a nice lunch on the ramp in Perkin's Cove. If Ricardo hadn't been there I could have sold this picture to P&H!

Given the time and energy levels we decided to turn back just short of Ogunquit Beach. Here's a few more paddler pictures:

It turned out to be a fine early spring paddle.
