In this course we will focus on the fundamentals of finding your way on the sea. We will learn about how to plot courses, take bearings and measure distance. Additionally we will look at some of the key features of a marine chart. Once we have a practical understanding of these aspects we will then take them on the water to test the newly learned skills. Our goal during this class is to learn navigation skills in both the two and three dimensional world. This course is great for those looking to learn or refresh their navigation skills.
