Chebacco Lake Practice Sessions, Thursday afternoons from 5pm until sundown, May 30th to September 26th.
The sessions are unstructured, but with the general aim of improving skills, achieving Mystical Oneness With Your Boat, while not getting too terribly serious about it.
The usual gang of paddle-wielding reprobates will be in attendance.
The first few weeks the water's cold and drysuits are necessary, but it will warm up as we get into July, and by August it's toasty!
Come on out and practice your strokes, rescues and rolls, show off your best stupid kayak tricks, or just hang out with the gang.
Rt 128 to Exit 16, Pine St, Manchester, then go North away from town. The road becomes a dirt road, but press on! After a mile the pavement will begin again, then you look for the launch on your right.
