Oyster River Paddle

Oyster River Level 2 Trip

This trip will meet ant 10:15am and launch at 11:00am. Return between 4:00 and 5:00pm. Out plan is to ride the tide down the river and stopping at Wagon Hill Farm. This is a nice public place with beach and picnic tables where we will snack or eat lunch. We will continue the paddle to the mouth of the Oyster River and poke around there depending on the weather/water conditions and the mood of the group. This is a nice quite river with lots of opportunity for wildlife observation.

Directions: From Rt 101 take Rt 108 North to Durham. Follow 108 into Durham and through the center of town. Turn onto Old Piscataqua Road. (If you cross Rt 4, you have gone too far!) Take the first right of Old Piscataqua (next to the skating rink) and follow that road to the water. The put in is at the end of the road. There is lots of parking. There will be a rest room.
