How to Get Ready

The Heartsaver Adult, Child & Infant Course covers a lot of material in a short time. Please read the workbook before you come to the course. Also, you should review the video clips on your student CD.

This will help you learn more during the course and make you more comfortable with the material. Be sure to bring your book with you because you will use it during class.

What to Wear

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have any physical conditions that might prevent these activities, please tell one of the instructors. The instructor may be able to adjust the equipment if you have back, knee, or hip problems.

Cost: $16 (includes all supplies and certification costs) Over half what you would pay through other sources.

NSPN member Lisa Macdougall has volunteered her time to NSPN to teach this course. All fees cover only the actual costs of participating in this course. Lisa is a Critical Care Nurse and has been a AHA CPR instructor for 17 years.
