Where the land meets the sea has always held a special fascination and
Atlantic Canada, with its thousands of kilometres of bays, beaches, harbours
and headlands has claimed some of the most spectacular coastline on the
continent. Join us in a slide presentation where we will journey by sea
kayak into little known corners of the east coast, areas that have scarcely
changed since the Europeans first arrived over 400 years ago: The rugged
islands of Nova Scotia’s Atlantic archipelago, the cliffs and whales of the
Cape Breton Highlands, the highest tides on earth in the the Bay of Fundy,
the sand beaches of Prince Edward Island, and the deep fjords and icebergs
of Newfoundland.
