We will launch at Pavilion Beach in Ipswich and paddle up scenic Ipswich Sound to Sawyer Island, an Essex Greenbelt Assoc. site with a sheltered picnic area among stands of hickory and oak. NSPN has a history of strong paddling culinary standards, so bring a little extra to share tastes and recipes. This is a level 2 trip, distance 8.4nm, time on the water of 4 hours.
