Solstice Trips Levels 2-3-4 & Boat Demo/Sale PLUS cookout!

Solstice Trips, Boat Demo/Sale, Cookout

June 18, 2005

Launch times TBA

What a way to start the Summer! Paddle, check out some kayaks (maybe sell or buy one), then share a fabulous NSPN dining extravaganza.

Unfortunately June 21 falls on a Tuesday this year, so our annual Summer Solstice kick-off will have to be a few days early, on Saturday, June 18. But, we will combine it with the boat demo, used boat sale Suzanne planned.

In keeping with the beginning of summer tradition we will launch 3 separate trips, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4, out of Marblehead harbor. The details with leaders and sign-up info, will be posted.

All trips will return to the beach at 4:00 PM for the boat demo. If you have a kayak to sell or are looking to buy and want to try some out, please participate.

The Level 2 trip will head to Crowninshield (formerly known as Brown=s)

Island at the mouth of the harbor, the route dependent on the wind

direction. If conditions permit we will go to Peaches Point and back.

The Summer Solstice Party will follow at the picnic tables on the swim beach side. In keeping with the best NSPN traditions, this will be strictly POT LUCK.
