Chebacco Lake Skills Session

The Chebacco Lake Practice Session is offered to NSPN members, and first timers for the promotion of good fundamental sea kayaking skills and a place and time to practice. This is a warm water playground for paddlers interested in developing and reinforcing all aspects of skills needed for safe and adventurous kayaking. Whether you are starting out with your newly acquired boat or just excited about practicing, this is the place to come. We gather each Thursday evening after 5:00 and practice together until the sunset. Come join us just for the fun of it, you won’t be disappointed.

A NSPN membership card, or $6 and a NSPN/ACA waiver (available on the website or at the lake) will be your ticket to participate. A parent must accompany anyone that is under 18 years of age, but we encourage family participation, give me a call at 978-281-3039 for more information before you come with young people, or any questions you might have.

Chebacco Lake is located on the town line of Hamilton and Essex, north of Manchester by the Sea. To get there, take 128 north to Manchester by the Sea ( Pine St.) exit 16 and head away from Manchester at the bottom of the exit. This direction takes you to a gravel roadway. Take this 1.4 miles and turn right into a parking lot with a boat landing.
