Bob Foote - rolling classes

Bob Foote - “Learn to Roll”

July 25 – Two Classes- Morning or Afternoon

Sign up for Class I- 9:00 AM to Noon or Class II 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Lake Cochituate in Wayland, MA

Kayak Rolling: There is no mystery in learning to roll a kayak. It takes timing, technique, practice, and the willingness to get wet. Learn methods from Bob that will help you perfect your roll, no matter what stage you are at in your progress.

Bob has taught canoeing to literally hundreds of students over the years. One of his most unique gifts as a teacher is the ability to watch a student and precisely analyze that individual's strengths and weaknesses. He can then translate that analysis into meaningful demonstrations and instruction that will produce results. His understanding of the dynamics of canoeing is truly inspirational. Bob will also teach you how to read the water and how to work with, rather than against it.

Fee: $65 per session for NSPN members, $90 per session for non-members NOTE: Priority will be given to NSPN members. Any slots not filled 2 weeks before the class will be made available to non-members.

Class size: 5 maximum

Suzanne will keep the registration list and a waiting list. Suzanne will only hold your slot when she receives your check made out to NSPN. Write clearly on the memo line that the check is for the Bob Foote Rolling class and SPECIFY WHICH TIME If you cannot attend you will receive a refund only if your slot can be filled from the waiting list. If the class is oversubscribed Suzanne will ask if you want to be placed on the waiting list.

The Club makes every effort to provide these classes at below market prices. The club does not subsidize activities that benefit only the participants in classes with limited enrollment. Therefore, in the highly unlikely event that the class is canceled due to extreme weather, there will be no refunds. Lightening will obviously keep us off the water, but much can be learned from this talented teacher on shore.
