Pebble Beach isn't just pebbles it's more like cobbles ranging from golf to soccer ball size with some sand exposed at low tide. Sturdy foot wear reccomended. Note that parking is free along the west end of Penzance Rd. but is very limited for non-residents so this trip is limited to 6 vehicles. Car pooling encouraged. Please arrive no later than 9:00 am to better our chance of parking. There is a porta-john.
1) Participants must be a club member and have signed the club wavier. Saying you are "going" in calendar is not the same as registering, but please indicate your intention.
2) The usual kit needed, an ocean kayak with bulkheads and decklines, a PFD, spray skirt, hydration, sunscreen, food and hat, or helmet if you want to play in rocks. If you have a VHF radio, tow belt, extra paddle and kits to repair boats and bodies, bring them along, but not required.
