Lowell History and Natural History Sunset Paddle Tour

Our history paddle tour focuses on the history of Lowell and the part that the Merrimack River played in developing our city. There is lots to learn about the Merrimack River watershed, the Native American history, the canals, and our natural resources up to the current day. Your guides will also seek out natural plants and animals on the shore and share what they can about the world around us, right here in Lowell! This sunset tour stays on the flatwater portion of the Merrimack River above the dam. Kayaks or canoes are available for use.

RSVP after you’ve registered at this link:

You’ll have to scroll down the page and make sure to pick the July 24th event. Note that it’ll only cost $20 if you bring your own kayak. Good opportunity to bring along anyone looking to dip their toe into the sport of paddling.

This is a U Lowell event, not an NSPN event.
