December 21, 201212 yr Hmm,At the risk of putting my foot in it, I prefer totipalmate webbing for feet. That’s what some aquatic birds have; for example gannets, boobies, cormorants, and pelicans. In totipalmate webbing all four toes are joined by webbing, as opposed to palmate webbing where just three toes are joined by webbing (not that I have anything against ducks that are stuck with palmate webbing). Besides, ducks are pretty good doing the C-to-C roll.On the other hand, I’m partial to bird’s wings as opposed to their feet. I guess that’s why I usually use a wing paddle. But I do wonder if this new product is available in carbon fiber. I think a Greenland stick model would make a great gift for this holiday season.- Leon
