Posted July 30, 201212 yr I have to be off the water by 2 PM, but a 10:00 AM start should give plenty of time for this trip.Route: Launch from the Birdseye building parking lot next to the Chamber of Commerce on Commercial Street. Paddle out the west side of Gloucester harbor, past the castles and Norman's Woe. Short break at Magnolia beach. On the return we can cross the mouth of the harbor to the Dogbar breakwater and take the eastern shore route back. (Or visa versa depending on the winds)Level 3 trip for distance and exposure.
