Brian Nystrom
I'd like to run a workshop or two again this winter, if there is enough interest. I'm in the early planning stages now, so if you'd like to attend, please chime in. As we did last year, we'll concentrate on installing "foam art" in cockpits, deck rigging, installing backbands, repairing skeg cords/cables and so forth, but I'm open to other suggestions.Update 12-3:Since there's apparently enough interested people for another workshop, I'm looking into locations and dates. I'll probably shoot for the forth or fifth weekend in January (it's a five weekend month next year) and am planning to run it for the entire weekend, which seemed to work really well last year. As soon as I have any more details, I'll post them.

markstephens
Brian:Oh, you HAVE to do this again. This is one of the club highlights of the year, and especially the winter months.I like the idea of a gelcoat and/or glassing workshop if we can swing it. I'll bet you could run a whole series of clinics on different topics, charge for them, and sell out every one!How about building a skeg box? Installing a day hatch?Another idea: Greenland paddle making/detailing workshop?I'm interested in attending, helping, learning at whatever workshops you put together. Thanks,Mark

djlewis
Brian -- This is obviously a terrible idea that nobody in NSPN is interested in. Why don't you take your tools and tubes home and keep out of the way of everybody else. Hey, you can store them at my place if you like!;-)))) --David. Fred C
Anne is also interested in attending. She is having computer issues so I am posting for her.
Brian Nystrom
Keith has a lot of experience doing it, too. While I could do a paddle making workshop, it would take too long using the method I prefer.
