Doug Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 RE-SCHEDULED for this FRIDAY, low tide is at 2:08. A couple of us plan to launch at 12:00, Cashman Park. Please post interest or send me a message if you plan to go. Doug
rkhederian Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Doug, I may possibly be interested. Where is the meeting spot, I do not see directions under the Put-In locations? Bob
Doug Posted May 6, 2010 Author Posted May 6, 2010 Doug, I may possibly be interested. Where is the meeting spot, I do not see directions under the Put-In locations? Bob SEAL PADDLE Meet at Cashman Park in Newburyport on Friday 5/7 at noon for a 12:00 launch. Our goal will be to follow the tide out and view Harbor Seals and Grey Seals basking at Badger Rocks. Low tide is 2:08PM. Plenty of time to meander around then ride the tide back in. This should be the last weekend in Newburyport when boat traffic is low. Most marinas open up May 15th. http://maps.google.com/maps/place?client=s...529668136426499

nancysan Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Given that the wind is just a tad high (for my taste), I think I'm going to work instead of joining you. I hope it is great. Nancy
Doug Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 There have been some concerns about the sustaining winds of 5 to 15 with higher gusts potentially reaching 20 or more but the Seal Paddle is still on as scheduled. The sun is shining and the tide is right.
