Michael_Crouse Posted November 17, 2004 Share Posted November 17, 2004 Those of us on the board have been trying to sort this out and we want to let everyone know what's going on.As you probably know we have a relationship with the ACA, we are a Paddle America Club. The short explanation of this is that when we follow some guidelines that the ACA has set we can have our events insured by the ACA. These events are the ones that are on our calendar, they include trips and pool sessions.The ACA is having problems with thier (ie: our) insurance provider, what this means to all of us is that we have no insurance for any on water activity for the remainder of this year.The ACA and NSPN are working very hard to fix this problem so that we can have trips and pool sessions, but we don't know what's going to happen yet.If we, NSPN, can't reserve pool space due to lack of insurance coverage thier are some other options that we can explore to keep everyone in pool sessions over the winter.We will keep everyone posted on what's happening,Thanks to everyone who has been working so hard on this.
