some small SE swells out there and a northerly breeze. Maybe 2' waves being stacked and cleaned by an opposing breeze. I'll find out. I'm headed to Pebble Beach, around 5 PM, and paddling to the next beach over which seems to hold an interesting break.

It's a Sho&Go with the attendent protocols (or lack of, for me).

Ye haaaaa!

I'll be there, I'm new at this surf thing, so don't laugh too hard at me when I eat sand, endo, wet exit, and a host of other silly things I'm sure I'll do to keep you entertained.

I can't make it tonight, but I'll be up for an after work surf session tomorrow (Wed) if anyone (or waves) is around. I went out to Good Harbor last night, and had a bit-o-fun playing in the mostly flat conditions.

Last Friday night, however was unbelievable! Out of Pebble in my long boat, getting totally worked along Long Beach. At least I got a lot of (successful!) practice with my comabt roll. (and only 1 wet exit! ;-) Decided to head down the coast to Good Harbor just to tour, but found some nice mellow 2-3 footers along the N end of the harbor where I had several good long rides. Had a blast among the refracting waves b/t Good Harbor and Long Beach, too! Anyway, had to share! I'm still buzzing!!!

I went by Long Beach at 1pm and it was dead flat no waves anywhere. Just thought you might what some heads up. Sorry about the flatness, sure was nice on Sunday in Casco Bay coming back from Outer Green to Peaks. Long big 3+ swells pushing us along even across the current. See you when it is up again. Rick C

at George's Bank, that is... :( Bouy readings from Portsmouth to Boston Harbor show 1.8' to 2' (meaning likely smaller if these reach the beach). Oh well... I'm splitting from work anyway. Got two late working nights ahead of me, so I am outa here. Guess it's an ocean roll practice night.

Jason, if you show, I have a spare 185 cm paddle you can try. Try "ZIPping" with that.
