Its supposed to be blowing a bit; 15 ~ 25 kts out of the S ~ SW with gusts to 30 kts, a chance of showers and fog but its also going to be downright balmy. Warnings from the Boston Marine Patrol not withstanding, Laura and I plan to be on the water.

Particulars:

Portsmouth Hbr HW 1147 (8.3) -> LW 1809 (0.1).

Its a new moon but range of tide is only 7 ~ 8 ft.

Sunrise to Sunset: 0714 ~ 1616

(NOTE: Small craft advisory is in effect through Sunday PM)

Plan: Meet at Pierce Island or Goat Island with BIB at 1000. Lots of protected paddling in the harbor out to the breakwater and would call going outside to play from there.

Off the water by 14 ~ 1500.

It may be just a good work-out paddle.

This paddle is only recommended for those comfortable in conditions and equipped for 40 degree water.

Food and a hot drink would be standard kit.

I will check here in early AM to see if anyone else is planning to attend.

Jon
