Kevin B (RPS Coach) Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 We'll be surfing both days this weekend. If anyone is interested, please send me an email or use the PM system. I will not be posting put in information in this thread. If you are thinking of joining us, you must have a helmet. We have a couple of extras that people are welcome to use if they fit.

djlewis Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Sunday looks like a nice surfing day. Marine forecast for Merrimack to Plymouth... Sun NW winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt...diminishing to around 10 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft... subsiding to 3 to 5 ft. A chance of showers and tstms. Good surfing? Maybe for seals and dolphins. Ever try to paddle in 30kt winds, much less 40? And if you pick your beach right (or wrong) NW winds 20-30-40 will blow you out toward P-Town, if not Senegal. Drop us a line when you arrive.

Ern Ernie, Not trying to prevent anyone from joining. By not posting the put in info, this allows me to get some idea about how many people will show up. The last couple of trips I expected on average 8 people given posts/emails only to find about 15 people showing up. I'm just trying to remove the uncertainty in re the number of people attending. FYI, you can access the PM system by simply clicking on a user's name in the post.

I'll respond to all of them on Friday with a plan of action for Sat. and Sun. The weather forecast it very erratic at the moment so keeping an eye on that as well.

Ok, if I had your email, I responded with a plan to that first, followed by PMs for those whose emails I don't have.
subaruguru Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Kev, I think I'm up for this, and will bring Mark S's old battleship-gray Necky RIP (now that I removed those binding thigh hooks!) to try out, as well the long boats. Only caveat is the low probability of an eager last-minute Subie client. Ern
