Paul Sylvester Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Three of us set off at 9:30 went out through Little Harbor and up the side of the main channel. Found some terns dropping into the water for their lunch. Rather neat to watch as the larger fish push the minnows up and the terns drop in. Fort pt was quiet but as we got up by PYC we found some mooring balls we could tuck behind. Played for a spell and then went up to green #9 buoy. It was moving quite well there, about 3 knots around the buoy so we played in the eddy and practiced getting in and out. After we tired we went up to 4 tree island, took a break and then went up under the RT1 bridge (middle). The current was starting to slow so we never found any better play spots but we were able to work the eddys and just check things out. No rain, just threats of a soaking.. Off by 1:30 Maybe 8 miles that felt like 12...... Quote
