EEL
When might you launch and how long might you be out? Temps there would be around freezing? Would this be for cruising about or going to find excitement amongst wave and rock? Ed Lawson
bob budd
The conditions are unlikely to provide "excitement". I'd expect "crusing" with possible navigating amongst rocks. Time would be limited to an evening engagement, let's say ~4PM off the water.
EEL
>The conditions are unlikely to provide "excitement". Doesn't take much to cause excitement for me. At what time and from what place would you start? I was thinking of three hours or so given expected temps. I need to consult SWMBO in any event. bob budd
10:00AM would be an easy time to meet. Looking to be off the water at 4PM or a bit sooner. With the overnight northerlies if anyone is uncomfortable with moderate seas we should launch from Manchester. Given my experience I insist on at least one experienced paddler per inexperienced paddler. At this point it doesn't seem like we can make this work. I will check again later tonight, for now I'm not expecting to launch. Direct messages can be sent via the e-mail icon on this posting, anyone who has my number feel free to call.
