hopefloats
Hey Kev- weather .com says "brace for stormy seas" yet I keep hearing that by this evening the fog is supposed to burn off and it'll be beautiful... (forest river is pretty protected anyway) ...what have you heard?
Kevin B (RPS Coach)
The weather will clear. The area is so protected that the "stormy seas" shouldn't be a problem.

We will be on the water at 5:30PM. Latecomers please paddle out to Kevin on the water to sign in (please bring your ACA number.). Those who leave early will also have to sign out with Kevin. For those new paddlers that show up (please do!), we will do some shallow water basics first. Parking at the site is for Salem residents only from 9-5pm and non-residents would have to pay a fee. I've been advised by those in charge of the Park that this is the case. I would suggest that people ARRIVE at 5:30 and expect the butts in boat time to be 6pm. We'll can stay on the water until dark is so inclined. If necessary, cancellations will be announced on the general message board.
