Sanjay
no, not while attempting a roll in stormy conditions off the Brewsters, but on the sedate lawn next to the CRCK booth in Newton. I put it down in the grass while loading my boat, helped another paddler who dropped a part of a paddle in the parking lot, and promptly forgot it. By the time I returned, it was gone. It's fairly unique, and paddlers are a close community--plus I had an amazing experience a couple of months ago losing a bicycle pannier and having it returned to me, untouched, by a homeless couple--so I figured it might be worth posting here in case someone found it or were to see it.It's a Jan-Tex (Slovakian-made) wing paddle, unusual enough, and the length-lock is Aqua-sealed together at 0 degrees of feather. So, if anyone happens to see such an odd bird on the water, let me know? Thanks,Sanjay (P.S. I'm trying to forgive myself for being so dumb, which is made easier by the fact that I've been reading a book by a man who became quadriplegic after diving into the shallow end of a pool; If he's able to not kick himself over such a mistake, I can certainly forgive myself for this one!)
