SeanK
Dear NSPN Members,This is just a place holder for your calendars. We've booked "the Barn" once again on the 1st weekend of December for our pot-luck soiree. For those who are new, we have an annual pot-luck Holiday party to celebrate not only the festivities of the year, but those of the past paddling season. The food is bar none the best you've ever had and the comradery is even better. In addition, we have awards and a free raffle which proves to be quite enjoyable. For more details please refer to the NSPN calendar.Looking forward to a fantastic event,Sean
Gillian
AND I'm involved in picking out raffle give-a-ways, so if anyone wants to start putting in bribes now that would be just fine. I take 20's.

Gillian
Hi guys, just wanted to reply to this to make sure everyone still has the party on thier calendars We have a board meeting coming up soon so if not before then, by the next meeting we'll have more details, but suffice to say, food, awards, and give-a-ways will be involved. I wanted a DJ but apparently it's hard to discuss the benefits of asymmetric paddle blades to loud music For those of you in Georgia can't wait to hear the tall tales when you all get back!!!!! hopefloats
In all seriousness, is this a jeans thing, or do people get dressed up for the holiday?Having never been to the "barn" I wasn't sure if we should be wearing sh**kickers...Heidi
bob budd
Though often seen at paddling events beer is neither a member nor a kayaker.
bob budd
Most people arrive dressed like a typical, not formal, holiday party. Some arrive dressed for later parties. Its up to you. Beer usually shows up naked.
