I know there are several campgrounds on "the other cape" but I have never used them.

Does anyone have experience camping down there? I am looking for a place fairly close to Chatham, for the Saturday private trip Linda posted.

Liz-you can try Nickerson's in Brewster. It is supposed to be very beautiful and next to some nice kettle ponds as well.

Nickerson is the last place you can have a fire and I'm sure you won't need reservations at this time of year as the place is huge.

Years ago there were a couple of campgrounds out in Orleans that I liked - don't remember the names but they weren't the type that have pools and evening movies - just rustic and quaint.
