Camping on Cape Cod

There are two state parks on THE ;-) Cape with camping, and I think those are much better for tenters tahn any of the commercial parks, which probably cater more to RVs.

Nickerson State Park is in Brewster, which is fairly close to Chatham. Shame-Crowell is in Sandwich, not so close. You can get to both here...

and even make reservations online.

Nickerson is the last place you can have a fire and I'm sure you won't need reservations at this time of year as the place is huge.

Years ago there were a couple of campgrounds out in Orleans that I liked - don't remember the names but they weren't the type that have pools and evening movies - just rustic and quaint.
