prudenceb Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Cool video, but it was even cooler to watch Bill Vonnegut (who is one of NR founders, and was a coach at the Baja Kayak Fest) live, dancing backwards and forwards over pourovers that took others many many minutes to scout - and which I for one wouldn't even attempt after watching proficient paddlers crashing and burning. Super nice guy, mellow and funny. He also is their main photographer/videographer, and fun to watch how close he gets to get amazing shots. You would REALLY like him, Andy! pru Quote
prudenceb Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Yes! Through CalKayak: https://calkayak.com/classes-and-trips/ Looks as though they have rough water classes, but also private classes and if you really wanted to work with him, you could hire him for a day...or two...or three! He's really great and you would learn LOTS! The pourovers put anything that we see around here to shame! Quote
