Adam Bolonsky
I've revamped the lengthy blog series I wrote on how to surf a sea kayak in waves larger than the usual wind-driven chop. The series features Brad Gwynn's excellent from-the-foredeck photos, shot with a digital camera set on autoshoot to snap Brad every ten seconds. The photos and posts show and describe each step, from set-up to bracing to steering and recovery. You'll note that Brad wears a helmet and pfd in each photo, that he carries a spare paddle, and that the waves he rides are pretty big. The lengthy cross-referenced series, including its links to deals on waterproof digital cameras, is all at Sea Kayaking Dot Net.
