I've wanted to try heading south from Winthrop, and explore Fort Warren on Georges Island now that it's open again. 9nm round trip, or more if we feel like adding more islands. Please have a seaworthy boat 16'+ and practice with assisted rescues. Radios suggested. Free parking at the town boat ramp in Winthrop. 9am meet. Low tide 11:30am. Thunderstorms would cancel.
