Surfski Workshop (and post-workshop rock noodling)

We had a small but enthusiastic group of paddlers and ideal conditions for the first NSPN Surfski Workshop. Some had prior experience and owned their own skis, for others it was a first, even if they had some seakayaking experience. We started on the beach going over the equipment.IMG_2814.thumb.jpg.bc8077fa43ac024b75fc31303e81e392.jpg

Then on to stroke technique and mechanics.

Matt Drayer and his friend Andy Knight did a great job. We're fortunate to have the expertise and diversity that Matt brings to the club. If you missed this workshop, look for another late in August act or contact Matt directly for a one on one experience.

Bob and I couldn't resist a post workshop trip up the Squamscott coast for some rock noodling...
