alcoons Posted January 5, 2021 Share Posted January 5, 2021 I agree after seeing the front of a canoe pivot horizontally across the lane to the left of a fast moving vehicle as the rear strap held the stern in place. If you do not have attachment points on your vehicle for bow and stern lines I have had a great experience with the following. Actually I use one for the front in the engine compartment, but use the Subaru supplied tow hook for the rear.
