David M Posted October 23, 2020 Share Posted October 23, 2020 Huge congrats are in order for Joe Berkowitz who recently successfully assessed for the British Canoe Union's (BCU) Sea Kayak Leader (formerly 4*) award . The award is no "gimme". The candidate is assessed over a two day period against a range of factors including: trip planning , personal paddling skills, rescue and scenario management and leadership. Not to mention, this was done in a pandemic! I've personally benefitted from Joe's leadership skills and superb trip planning. Congratulations Joe!
