seasherpakayak Posted July 5, 2017 Share Posted July 5, 2017 Sea Sherpa Kayak is delivering a two days skills weekend 7/22-7/23. Venues will be in the coastal Ct/RI area. There is an option to do either or both days. - 1 day of ACA Skills Assessment. Level 3 and 4: These now are required before doing the same level IDW or ICE. Non ACA members can treat this as a technical skills training/proficiency check - 1 day of Open Water Personal Skills: Instruction based day to work on boat handling and proficiency in conditions. Depending on forecast, this will include surf, rocks, tidal or some combination thereof. Supplemental options include conditions forecasting and incident management. Costs are $175/day or $350 for entire weekend. Cost effective tent camping is available at Burlingame State Park. Feel free to contact Gerry if you have further questions.
