josko Posted April 28, 2017 Share Posted April 28, 2017 I'm noticing fiberglass kayaks with pigments mixed in with resins. I'm familiar with pigmented gelcoats but always thought that mixing pigments with resin weakens the bond with fiberglass cloth. I have tinted epoxy resin a few times and used West System. They have max amounts and guidelines in their literature but polyester and epoxy are different...
