Thank you Joe for posting this trip. It was a good learning experience and fun (most of the time). I have never paddled around Marblehead with a thick fog like that one. Sorry about the boat! hope is not too $ bad.

In Salem, MA we had flooding as well. The pictures below were taking at high tide (11.05 feet) yesterday. The kid was having a good time. Many basements in The Willows were flooded.

Frankly, I had never thought that it will be hard to get out of the boat while upside down... your postings have changed my mind. I will practice with my thickest gloves...
