  1. REI carries NRS boots. Not sure if the ones posted are therebut you can try on what they have.
  2. I have these and am quite happy with them. I just walked for a bit on Peddocks Island to check out the camping area so they performed well on shells, rocks, twigs, etc. https://www.watersportsoutlet.com/2018-crewsaver-5mm-neoprene-zip-boot-6940-p-25257.html
  3. Have you considered the launch point at the Gerry Playground in Marblehead? There is free parking, a nice launch and you are in Salem Harbor. Gerry Playground Marblehead, MA 01945 https://goo.gl/maps/FQKAxFUr52M2
  4. Sounds like fun. I'll be there if I can.
  5. Thanks to everyone in the pool session yesterday. You made me feel welcome and I had a great time.
  6. I'm just starting out with SOF, too. I'm building a Yost Sea Tour 17 EXP because of my size and weight (6', 250 lbs). I've already completed and am paddling a Pygmy Boats Borealis XL that I love but have the building addiction now. So far, I've ripped all the stringers, gunwales and keelson. I've drawn the outlines of the stations and built the strongback. The fun part is about to begin with cutting the stations and staring the build. Advice is always welcome.
  7. I'm planning to paddle that day, too. I have a drysuit. I was planning to go to Fisherman's beach in Swampscott, MA but am open to other ideas. I live near Lowell, MA.
